THE STONE FOR THE LIBRA SEASON OF 2015 IS THE BLOODSTONE!

On September 27, 2015, a lunar eclipse began at about 8:11 pm EST.  At totality, the point of full eclipse, the Moon took on a dark red hue.  This event was known as the “Blood Moon.”  This blood moon was significant because it was the fourth and last appearance of the dark red moon in the tetrad series.  The last time this astronomical event took place was in 1982 and will not be observed again until 2033.  The fourth appearance of Blood Moon in the tetrad also took place on the first day of the Libra season.  With that in mind, I am happy to announce that the Bloodstone is the “Rock of the Season!”

• The Bloodstone deals with the Higher Heart chakra and it also helps to realign and cleanse the lower chakras. It vibrates highest with the Aries, Libra, and Pisces zodiacs and is ruled by the Planet Mars.

The Bloodstone contains energies that can help an individual to appreciate and live in the present moment.  It also has properties that can help an individual banish evil and to direct spiritual energies.  The energies contained in the bloodstone have some effects on the body as well.  It aids in cleansing the blood, stimulating the immune system, and a strong healer and revitalizer.  This stone also has grounding and protecting properties. The Bloodstone keeps out undesirable influences and teaches how to avoid dangerous situations by strategic withdrawal and flexibility and assists the recognition that chaos often precedes transformation.  It aids in grounding the heart energy, reducing irritability, aggressiveness, and impatience. It heals the ancestral line.
