In the heart of Downtown Orlando lies a little shop called Dandelion Communitea Cafe. The key word here is community. This house turned restaurant has been a safe haven for vegans and vegetarians throughout central Orlando. They provide a diverse menu of cafe style meals that have the option of being vegan or vegetarian. Although, the difference between the two is usually just one’s craving for real melted cheese. I was surprised to find that they also sold some vegan desserts, for example; vegan cupcakes, brownies, and breads.
During the evening hours, Dandelion Cafe opens up its doors for more recreational activities. Every Tuesday Night is Diverse Word Poetry. Local Artwork is put up for sale on Wednesdays and live music is played on Thursday and Fridays. For more information, click on the link to see their full webpage.
Cheers to you Dandelion on paving the way for enlightened food!

$5 giddy-up wraps on Monday = a reason to dine at dandelion AT LEAST once a week. But the truth is…you absolutely CANNOT go wrong here.
